Yes. Your neck is used to your old pillow. Give it three to five nights before you decide. Most of the adjustment happens in the first week.
Firm or soft?
Medium-firm. The foam softens slightly with body heat and recovers slowly, so it supports you without feeling hard.
Which side do I use?
The lower edge suits back sleepers, the higher edge suits side sleepers. Flip it to whichever feels right.
How do I wash it?
Unzip the cover and machine wash it cold on a gentle cycle, then air dry. The foam itself shouldn't be washed, just aired out now and then.
